Changing the blades on a GrassGator 6700
Remove the old blades
Locate the metal retainer
Locate the metal retainer
Push the ends of the old blades towards the pivoting discs to unlock. Pull from the other side (the back loop) to remove. Do the same for all 3 blades.

Locate the side of the pivoting post that has the metal retainer.
Insert the new blades

Insert the new blades
Insert the end of the blade through the metal retainer side of the pivoting post.
Keep pushing until the tip comes out on the other side. Pull from the tip side until the blade locks into position.
Changing the Lines on a GrassGator 6700
Remove the old lines
Find the correct side of the pivoting post
Find the correct side of the pivoting post
Remove the old line by pushing the ends towards the pivoting discs to unlock. Pull on the center loop to remove.
Take or cut 3 new pieces of line, .080, .095 or .105 about 10" long, and fold it in half.

Before installing the new lines, locate the side of the pivoting post that has the metal retainer.
Insert the new line

Insert the new line
Insert one end on each side of the metal retainer.
Push the line
Secure the line
Insert the new line
Keep pushing until the line comes out on the other side.

Secure the line
While pressing down on the loop of the nylon, pull through until locked into place.
Do the same for all three lines.
You are now ready to use the GrassGator head!
